What you need An old CD or DVD disc
A balloon
A pop-top cap from a bottle
blue tack
Instructions: If you are using the cap
from a water bottle cover the centre hole of the CD with a piece of tape and
poke about 6 holes in the tape with a push-pin or small nail. This will slow
down the flow of air and allow your hovercraft to hover longer.
Place the balloon over the mouth part of the cap open and blow that balloon up
through the other side close and leave.
Use blue tack to attach to the centre of the CD or DVD disc I tried it with
rubbish white tack and it worked and that stuff can’t even hold up my poster.
Create a good seal to keep air from escaping. Use the edge of a ruler or
fingernail to press into place and create a seal.
Make sure the pop-top is closed and fit the neck of the balloon over the pop-up
portion of the cap.
Put the craft on a smooth surface and pop the top open.
To re-inflate either blow through the hole in the cd or take the balloon off
and try to put it back on- better with 2 people.
